Heesen Yachts is celebrating the keel laying of Project Evita, which took place at Heesen’s production facilities in Oss. This milestone marks the start of construction of this lightweight 57-meter aluminum yacht.
Heesen, renowned for its in-house team of master welders, ensures that every hull is meticulously crafted to the highest standards. The advanced engineering of Project Evita guarantees a top speed of 22 knots at half load, delivering a seamless blend of performance and comfort. Designed with a shallow draft, this yacht is perfectly suited for cruising the idyllic waters of the Bahamas, a rare feature for a yacht of this size and volume.
“To achieve such a high top speed, the yacht must be lightweight, so we are naturally building in aluminium,” said Peter van der Zanden, General Manager of Design and Development at Heesen Yachts. “The vertical bow guarantees a long waterline length for maximum efficiency and speed potential, while the aft end is composed of complex sweeping curves.”
The contemporary exterior, crafted by Omega Architects, features a striking silhouette characterized by an elongated profile and a distinctive scoop-shaped stern. With its sharp angles and dynamic lines, the design evokes the elegance and power of a leaping animal. As the second vessel in Heesen’s new 57m Aluminum Class with FDHF, Project Evita boasts a volume of 780 GT, offering ample space without compromising speed or agility.
The interior, envisioned by the renowned Harrison Eidsgaard, is tailored for both relaxation and entertainment. Project Evita accommodates up to twelve guests in six beautifully appointed staterooms. A central elevator connects all three decks, ensuring effortless access for guests.
A standout feature of Project Evita is the pool on the main deck aft, offering a serene space for guests to unwind while enjoying the surrounding seascape. Complementing this is a thoughtfully designed lazarette in the transom, providing storage for an array of water toys and ensuring endless opportunities for adventure on the water.
Project Evita is scheduled for delivery in Q2 2027.
