AMSTERDAM – Awlgrip, AkzoNobel’s yacht and coatings brand, has launched its 3D Color Visualizer, an online tool that lets you into the company’s database of tens of thousands of colors. The 3D Color Visualizer lets you find ‘your perfect color’ for any boat type and “revolutionize your yacht coating experience.”
Selecting the perfect color can be daunting. So Awlgrip says, “Let us make it easier for you by introducing the Awlgrip 3D Color Visualizer.”
It adds it is “a user-friendly, interactive tool designed to simplify the process of finding the right color for boaters and applicators.” Users get instant access to the extensive database of Awlgrip colors and customize their boat’s color design.” The 3D Color Visualizer provides offers these benefits. Through AkzoNobel’s expertise in color and utilizing unique algorithms, boaters can now visualize what their boat could look like in a 3D virtual environment and then download their project scheme to discuss with their retailer or client.
Unlike traditional ‘flat’ panels, the user can manipulate the virtual boat to view colors from different angles, providing a lifelike impression of how complex curves and angles will appear.
