Mulder Shipyard sells two ThirtySix motor yachts

ZOETERWOUDE – Mulder Shipyard reports the sale of two Mulder ThirtySix motor yachts. One was sold at the 2022 Monaco Yacht Show and one at the 2022 Fort Lauderdale Boat Show, which Mulder attended with a booth only.

The shipyard also announced its first delivery of 2023, well ahead of the May 1 contracted delivery date of Sunny Day, the 9th Mulder Favorite 1700.

The latter yacht accommodates six guests in three cabins,  has mahogany interiors and sports a distinctive Aurora Gold Metallic aluminum hull. Its twin Volvo Penta D6-440HP engines deliver a top speed of over 20 knots. The yacht has zero-speed fin stabilizers and spud poles.

The two Mulder ThirtySix yachts were hull numbers six and seven of that model. According to Mulder, the owner of hull number six “was struck by the quality, layout and efficiency of this 36m aluminum yacht, which was designed by Claydon Reeves.”

The naval architecture of the Mulder ThirtySix series – which features the patented Fast Displacement Hull Form – is by Van Oossanen.

Both hulls of the Mulder ThirtySix yachts were already under construction when they were sold, allowing the new owners to take delivery of their vessels within a relatively short time.

The delivery of hull number six is scheduled for June. Hull number seven will be built by Mulder’s new construction hall at Enkhuizen, some 50 kms (30 mi) north of Amsterdam. This vessel will be handed over to the new owners in April 2024.

Mulder Shipyard attended the 2023 Palm Beach International Boat Show (March 23-26), displaying the Mulder ThirtySix Solemates that just made the Atlantic crossing under its own power.
