Moonen Martinique 36m

DEN BOSCH – Moonen Yachts says it began 2022 “with a bang” – the sale of a 36m Moonen Martinique. The four-deck yacht will be delivered later this year and is the fourth hull built on the shipyard’s award-winning Martinique platform.

Moonen Yachts’ original Martinique – the 36m Brigadoon – scored a Neptune award (in the best semi-displacement or planing motor yachts of 33-39.9m category) at the 2019 World Superyacht Awards ceremony.

The Martinique sports an exterior design by Dutch designer René van der Velden and naval architecture by Diana Yacht Design. The yacht just sold can accommodate 12 guests and seven crew. It has a full-beam master stateroom, large guest cabins and spacious crew quarters.

The shipyard says the interior design will strike a balance between indoor and outdoor living. It is the work of the Stockholm design studio of Andreas Martin-Löf Arkitekter.

The steel-and-aluminum yacht will feature an integrated hydraulic swim platform that provides easy entry into the water from the stern, even when wearing scuba gear. Also, there is a 65m² sundeck with a bar and grill and 360-degree views.

For more than 40 years, Moonen has made expertly built luxury superyachts. These days, the yard focuses on yachts of between 30 and 50m, a fiercely competitive range.

The newest addition to Moonen’s portfolio is 34n Moonen 110, a model that builds on the shipyard’s 84 and 97 builds. Moonen is currently working on Moonen 110, a slender, three-deck yacht that is scheduled for delivery in April 2023.
